  • Labor Day Holiday office hours change:

  • In observance of the Labor Day holiday, please note the following schedule changes for the Town Office and Town Clerk:
      - Town Office Closed: Monday, September 7th
      - Town Clerk Closed: Saturday, September 5th
      - Town Clerk Open: Saturday, September 12th

  • Absentee Ballot information enclosed - see page 2. The information is also on the front page of the town website (ORANGENH.US)

  • Information about elections and what to know before you go to vote - see page 5

NEXT HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DATE:

  • Saturday, September 26: LEBANON at DHMC Lot 27, 52 Labombard Rd, Lebanon (LAST ONE FOR THE SEASON!)

SAVE THE DATES:

  • Tuesday, September 8, 2026: State Primary Election. Vote 11am to 7pm at the Town House. 

  • Sunday, September 13, 2026: Town Museum open 2-4 pm

  • Thursday, September 17 at 7pm. Presentation hosted by the Historical Society. The term Upper Valley and how it came to be and how the term became a name for a cluster of towns that are connected in many ways, even though divided by a river and a state line. See page 6 for further details. 

  • Saturday, September 26, 2026: Canaan Town-Wide Yard Sale.  See page 7 for information and who to contact if you want to participate.  

  • Sunday, October 11 is the Orange Harvest Festival. See last page 

  • Tuesday, November 3, 2026: General Election.  Vote 11am to 7pm at the Town House.
