In observance of the Labor Day holiday, please note the following schedule changes for the Town Office and Town Clerk:
- Town Office Closed: Monday, September 7th
- Town Clerk Closed: Saturday, September 5th

Sunday, September 13, 2026: Town Museum open 2-4 pm
Thursday, September 17 at 7pm. Presentation hosted by the Historical Society. The term Upper Valley and how it came to be and how the term became a name for a cluster of towns that are connected in many ways, even though divided by a river and a state line. See page 6 for further details.
Saturday, September 26, 2026: Canaan Town-Wide Yard Sale. See page 7 for information and who to contact if you want to participate.
